ODI Change Data Capture Options
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Provides several options for Change Data Capture (CDC) from the source data:
- CDC using Oracle GoldenGate (OGG)
- CDC using Oracle Streams
- CDC using Database Triggers
- CDC using Data Server Log files (by reading the native iSeries Transaction Journals)
Note: Oracle ODI refers to CDC as JKM Journalizing Knowlege Module and provides two types – simple (one table setup with no referential integrity) and Consistent (uses referential integrity) in the CDC.
