getting a panasonic gh5 working with lumix tether decently… tirades and tribulations ;-)

Downloaded the windows software and used the defaults, and the resolution was terrible, with trails, lag, etc.

Then I saw a video of a person (I will post) using it with good resolution and his shutter speed was set at 50 – mine was set at 250 by default.  So, after I lowered the shutter speed (S) on the Lumix Tether software, the resolution, and lag appeared to improve dramatically, voila!.

Was able to use OBS with it by 1.) creating a scene, 2.)adding Window Capture -> Live View (that is part of Lumix Tether) and then 3.) adding an audio source, in my case a Blue Yeti.

It is now usable for a lot of stuff, hi-res zoom, recording, going to test it on Camtasia… will update this post.
