Are you doing an Oracle upgrade with DBUA – and you have hidden parameters you want to keep?
From 11.2.0.4 onwards there is a new switch to preserve the hidden parameters:
dbua -keepHiddenParams
If you don’t use it – you loose any hidden parameters you had.
