When you use CloudFront you create a distribution – that requires you first select a delivery method. Either:
- Web distribution
or
- Real-Time Messaging Protocol
Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) is a proprietary protocol developed by Macromedia for streaming audio, video and data over the Internet, between a Flash player and a server. Macromedia is now owned by Adobe.
When creating a distribution – default TTL should be set to the average amount of time that an object is refreshed. If pictures change daily, you don’t want a weekly default TTL.
