When you change the main config file wp-config.php…

in WordPress (Linux based) make sure you save it so “apache” or what ever web server you are using can get to it – for example: chown apache:apache wp-config.php will do it.

If apache can’t read this file – it’s not going to server up any page. Figured that out by looking at /var/log/httpd/error_log
